Absolutes and Confusion or Absolute Confusion

Abstract: (Absentia) Read the full version now

If absolutes are defined as quantities that remain constant independent of the dynamics due to the laws of nature then space and time may not be absolutes. The laws of nature, such as the thermodynamic laws, are differential equations that relate changes in space with changes in other variables. However, these laws require a limiting velocity that is independent of the force and prevents any force from accelerating something to velocities greater than this limiting velocity. This means that the ... more

Abstract: (In Person) Read the full version now

Over the past decade most cosmologists have come to believe that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. Seeming evidence for this acceleration has been provided by brightness measurements of many newly discovered type Ia Supernovae. These supernovae were discovered to be unexpectedly faint for the distance at which they were according to standard cosmology. If their distances were indeed correct, the unexpected faintness of the supernovae would indicate that the universe is larger th... more

Acoustic Michelson-Morley Experiment with an Ultrasonic Range Finder
Norbert Feist

Norbert Feist
Abstract: (Absentia) Read the full version now

An ultrasonic range finder was mounted on a horizontally rotatable rail at fixed distance, s, to a reflector on the top of a car. The change of the distance reading, s, served to determine the two-way velocity of sound as a function of [car] velocity and direction. Result: the out- and back velocity c2 was isotropic as in the optical case of the Michelson-Morley experiment. Within the experimental error it was found to vary as c2 = (c2 - v2) / c.

The crucial character of relative motion and Ampeers force law in interpreting homopolar induction was pointed out in recent experimentation performed by us. H. Montgomery suggests the compatibility of that experimental results with Maxwell's field theory. With the purpose of elucidating the applicable rationale this article identifies three independent energy-conversion mechanisms definable within the basic homopolar-machine frame and, hinging on a specially developed finite-element software, i... more

Abstract: (In Person) Read the full version now

The problem of the character of gravitation is approached by discussing three main possible modes of action from the historical, theoretical and empirical standpoints. The Newtonian mode of action-at-a-distance (AAAD) in which Newton himself did not believe followed through three centuries, though the aim is not historical accuracy. This approach includes several Webertype theories of velocity-dependent action; these are found to be compatible with or transformable to the mode of the ?mater... more

Presented at XXV International Colloquium on Group Theoretical Methods in Physics, Mexico, August 2004. Following Minkowski in 1908, we consider the relative velocity to be the Minkowski space-like vector. We show that the Lorentz boost entails the relative velocity to be ternary: ternary relative velocity is a velocity of a body with respect to interior observer as seen by a preferred exterior observer. The Lorentz boost imply non-associative addition of ternary relative Einsteinian ve... more

This article presents intuitive, geometrical derivations of the relativistic addition of velocities, and of the elec-tromagnetic interaction between two uniformly moving charged particles, based on 2 spatial + 1 temporal dimensional Minkowski diagrams. We calculate the relativistic addition of velocities by projecting the world-line of the particle on the spatio-temporal planes of the reference frames considered. We calculate the real component of the electromagnetic 4-force, in the proper ... more

Is the Aether Entrained by the Motion of Celestial Bodies? What do the Experiments Tell Us?

Even though the concept has evolved and if the designation as aether is improperly regarded as outdated, nobody today considers that the vacuum is empty. However, the nature and the properties of the substratum, which permeates the entire universe, remain for the most part unspecified. For example, divergent opinions are put forward by physicists about a possible dragging of the aether by the translational motion of celestial bodies due to gravitation. We show in this text that such a hypothesis... more

Assigning to the Aether fluid a velocity-dependent refractive index can ensure that a spherical light wave remains spherical for all observers. Motion relative to zero-point radiation cannot be measured, suggesting identification with the Aether. The divergent energy density U of zero-point radiation when added to self-gravitational potential energy density cU Kc2 hfb0g, where fb0g = -2pGroR2 3 yields total energy density Kroc2 , which is finite if 2pGroR2 = 3Kc2 . Aether-Theory Clock Retardation vs Special Relativity Time Dilation

Assuming a model of aether non-entrained by the motion of celestial bodies, one can provide a rational explanation of the experimental processes affecting the measurement of time when clocks are in motion. Contrary to special relativity, aether theory does not assume that the time itself is affected by motion; the reading displayed by the moving clocks results from two facts:
  1. Due to their movement through the aether, they tick at a slower rate than in the aether frame.

To draw scientific Conclusions, the knowledge of the paper/topic and basic aspects of science is necessary.  But it has not been so in Prof. Andrew George's comments regarding Ajay Sharma's work on Einstein's Sep. 1905 paper.  Ajay Sharma has confirmed in various publications that Einstein's Sep. 1905 paper contradicts laws of conservation of matter under some conditions.  This aspect is justified here.

Experimental evidence is cited to show that intersecting fields rather than the fields themselves are what we perceive as carriers of energy. Thus the energy of an electromagnetic wave is produced by intersecting magnetic and electric fields. Additional evidence is introduced suggesting that the electron is a magnetic field rotating at speed c whose angular acceleration generates gravitational field. Therefore electron structure is the sought after unification between electromagnetic and grav... more

The need for the cosmological constant, Lambda, in Einstein's field equations to be an absolute mathematical constant over all the time that they are used to describe some astrophysics process is demonstrated. Only if that condition holds will the conservation laws of mass and momentum hold as in classical physics. The Friedman equations that can be deduced rigorously from general relativity are consequently equally restricted to a constant valued Lambda and for the same reasons. However, the st... more

For a particle at rest in macroscopic space that begins moving when energy is added, the equation for Einstein's energy-momentum relationship represents the relationship between the particle's total energy and momentum, and rest mass energy. When the kinetic energy of the particle increases, so does its total energy. However, things are different when electrons at rest approach the nuclei of hydrogen atoms - protons - thereby creating hydrogen atoms. An electron with rest mass energy will reduce... more

In this paper we show that with the use of hyperbolic functions calculus the Einstein formula for velocity addition and the Lorentz transform formulae can be both derived from the Minkowski space-time formula. This simply means that the formulae are fully consistent, although it says nothing about the physical meaning of the symbols used. We claim that two different versions of physical interpretation of the formulae are possible. In the Special Relativity Theory moving objects are considered in... more
